Five principles, one circle
Like the kolo, our approach is a circle: each principle leads to the next, and every new participant strengthens the whole.
How we work
Every activity of the association — a rehearsal, a workshop, a conversation with an older member about a song — is shaped by the same five principles. Together they describe not only what we do, but the spirit in which we do it.
These principles help us balance faithfulness to tradition with openness to new participants and new forms of expression.

Recognize the value of traditional heritage and encourage its continued appreciation. We care for songs, dances, costumes and customs as they have been handed to us, with respect for their origins.
